DFUNLIFE Intelligence is the companion app to What I Eat, by Devin Mack. It shows each day's carb-to-protein ratio and macros against your plan's targets, and summarises the sleep, recovery and activity data you already keep in Apple Health. Published by ENQUAL LLC.
Getting started
- Install the app and allow access to the Apple Health data you want it to use.
- Choose a plan from the book's weekly plans, or build your own week.
- Log your food in MyFitnessPal as usual and turn on its Apple Health sync. The app reads your totals from there.
- Check Today for your day type, ratio and grades. Each day closes at 10:00 the next morning.
Common questions
- My food totals don't match MyFitnessPal. Make sure MyFitnessPal is allowed to write nutrition to Apple Health, then reopen the app. Entries can take a few minutes to arrive.
- Can the app change my MyFitnessPal diary? No. It only reads. Use Try a food to preview a food's effect, then log it in MyFitnessPal.
- I train but the app says no workouts were recorded. Log the session in the app (Log › Workout) or connect a watch that writes workouts to Apple Health.
- Why can't I choose a shift-work plan? Plans for night and evening shifts are shown but not available yet. Pick the plan with the same week, or build your own.
- Where is my data stored? On your iPhone only. See the App Privacy Policy, linked at the bottom of this page.
- Is this medical advice? No. The app is a general wellness tool and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. Talk to your doctor about any health concern.
